Thanksgiving in a Town Built on Lederhosen and Limitless Meals

Every year, tourists flock to the Christmas capital, where two restaurants (Bavarian Inn and Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth) face each other. One is German and one is colonial, but both are famous for their family-style chicken dinners. The two Michigander meccas have had a friendly rivalry since the Zehnder family split their enterprise in two.
